Moulded polypropylene centrifugal pumps for corrosive and aggressive liquids — process pumps up to 35 m head at 2900 RPM and transfer pumps up to 15 m head at 1440 RPM.
The ECHO Series are moulded polypropylene centrifugal pumps designed for handling corrosive and aggressive liquids. Built with injection moulded virgin polypropylene wetted parts, these pumps offer excellent chemical resistance to acids, alkalis, and solvents across a wide range of industrial applications.
The range is divided into two groups: Group 1 process pumps (ECHO-100 to ECHO-170) operate at 2900 RPM for high head applications up to 35 metres, while Group 2 transfer pumps (ECHO-40, ECHO-50, ECHO-55) operate at 1440 RPM for medium capacity, low head transfer duties up to 15 metres. All models feature a semi-open precision moulded impeller with large contoured flow passages for maximum liquid handling and NPSH performance.
The pumps feature an EN Steel shaft designed for less than 0.05 mm deflection, protected by interchangeable shaft sleeves available in six materials — FRB (Bisphenol Resin), Ceramic, Hastelloy B, Alloy-20, Titanium, and Monel — enabling compatibility with virtually any corrosive liquid. Three sealing options are available: Teflon bellows for clear corrosive chemicals, internal mechanical seals for slurry-containing liquids, and gland packing for caustic and effluent service.
A heavy cast iron bearing frame with precision-bored bearing fits, a 3-piece replaceable cast iron adopter, and a high degree of component interchangeability across all models make the ECHO Series reliable and easy to maintain. These pumps serve caustic soda, dyes, pharma, fertiliser, steel, power, paper and pulp, electronic, textile, glass, and many other industries.
